Cabo Verde Tenth Island Project Robot

The Island of Santa Luzia, Cape Verde is an arid zone and it would be difficulty to work during the day exposed to the sun for long periods of time. Robots might be the key to working long hours in direct sunlight. Can this same robot function in the extreme cold of Antarctica?
